SPARKLER FILTER PRESS:
The basic function of a Sparkler Filter Press follows the given procedure while functioning
Liquid is first pumped through a central channel of a cartridge from the bottom of the model. Suspended particles are then retained on filter plates that have the filter media on top of it. Peripheral holes present of platen then help to clean filtrate accumulated into the tank. The rest of the liquid then emerges out of the outlet present at the bottom. The best feature of this equipment is that there is never any contact between the wall of the filter tank and the un-filtered liquid.
A sparkler filter press is a type of filter press that uses a slurry of solid particles suspended in a liquid to separate the solid particles from the liquid using a filter media. Key Specification
- Zero Hold Up horizontal closed pressure filter solves all major separation problems.
- The plate pack assembly consists of plates with interlocking cups, plate rings and perforated screen sand filter media
- Interlocking cups are arranged one above another, forming a single pipeline.
- The unfiltered liquid is fed centrally under pressure from the bottom inlet.
- The impurities and solids remain on the filter media as the filtrate flows through the gaps on the supporting rings and collects in the shell which is then led out through a pipeline. The solids are evenly distributed on each plate.
- At the end of the cycle, the cake can be dried to the maximum extent by applying air or inert gas.
